18 THE GRAND JURY CHARGES:
19 COUNT 1
20 On or about August 24, 1999, in Maricopa County, within the District of
21 defendant MALEK MOHAMED SEIF, aka Malek Mohamad Abdallah, in a matter
22 jurisdiction of the United States Social Security Administration, did knowingly and
23 make a false material statement, knowing the same to be false, by completing and presenting
24 the Social Security Administration an Application For Original Social Security Number
25 (SSA Form 5), falsely stating that he had never filed for or received a Social Security
26 Card before, and falsely representing that his name was Malek Mohamad Abdallah, and that his
27 place of birth was Barawe, Somalia, and that his parents were Mariam Said Shams Omar and
28 Mohamed Abdallah, and that his race was black, when in fact, defendant MALEK MOI-IAMED
1 SEIF, aka MalekMohamad Abdallah, had previously applied for and been issued Social Security
2 Account Number 600-21-2861 in the name of MALEK MOHAMED SEIF, and representing his
3 birth place to be Djibouti, Djibouti, and that his parents were named Mariam Said Naef
4 Mohamed Mohamed Seif, and that his race was white (not-Hispanic).
