18           On information and belief, plaintiff alleges:

21           Plaintiff Terry Lindholm is an Oregon citizen.  He lives in Clackamas County.

22                                                       2.

23           Plaintiff suffered a sudden hemorrhagic stroke on December 22, 2000 as a result of

24 ingesting Alka-Seltzer Plus, a cough and cold medication containing phenylpropanolamine, or

25 PPA.   He was hospitalized for approximately 3 weeks and suffers permanent brain damage.

26 Plaintiff discovered his claim within 2 years of filing this lawsuit.
