   JURY TRIAL DEMANDED

   Plaintiff, as and for his complaint, alleges the following upon
   personal knowledge as to himself, his counsel, and his own acts,
   including plaintiff's suitability to serve as a class representative.
   All other allegations herein are based upon the investigation of
   curative Health Services Inc. ("Cure" or the "Company") conducted by
   plaintiff by and through his attorney, which included, inter alia, a
   review of public filings of defendant with the Securities Exchange
   Commission ("SEC"), securities analysts reports, press releases and
   news articles pertaining to Cure, as well as other matters of public
   record.

                           JURISDICTION AND VENUE
    1. Plaintiff brings this action pursuant to sections 10(b) and 20(a)
       of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the "Exchange Act"), 15
       U.S.C. ß 78t, and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder
       (including Rule 10b-5, 17 C.F.R. ß 240.10b-5). Jurisdiction over
       the federal claims alleged herein is based upon section 27 of the
       Exchange Act.
    2. Venue is proper in this district since defendants have their
       corporate headquarters and principal place of business in this
       district and many of the acts charged herein occurred in or
       emanated from this district.
    3. In connection with the acts, conduct, and other wrongs complained
       of herein, defendants, directly or indirectly, used the means and
       instrumentalities of interstate commerce and the United States
       mails, and the facilities of the national securities markets.
